Lawyer in the Library

This event is free and is presented by the First Judicial Circuit.
Lawyer in the Library will be on Wednesday, November 12th from 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
This event is for ages 19 and up.
– Each session will only be 20 minutes long.
-Pre-registration is required. Please check with staff for the pre-registration form.
– Bring any paperwork relating to your legal matter.
– You cannot be represented by another attorney using the same legal matter.
Need legal advice? A licensed attorney will be available for free 20-minute sessions. They will assist you with legal coaching, document review, e-filing, and referrals. Please bring paperwork that relates to your legal matter. Register for your free session at Eldorado Memorial Library at the circulation desk.
– You are not eligible to participate if you are currently represented by an attorney.
– There is a maximum of one session per person every 2 months. You are not eligible to register in 2 consecutive months.
– You must be a resident of the Illinois First Judicial Circuit. The First Judicial Circuit is comprised of the following counties:

Jackson
Johnson
Massac
Pope
Pulaski
Saline
Union
Williamson
